Games are getting an added meaning this week for Alabama State football with SWAC conference play beginning on the road to Bragg Memorial Stadium with a matchup with Florida A&M (2 p.m. CT, HBCU GO).

Since Florida A&M became apart of the SWAC in 2021, the Rattlers have an unblemished 4-0 record against Alabama State but through three games in 2025, the two teams are trending in different directions.

Alabama State has been the hot topic of the SWAC thanks to its revitalized offensive attack under quarterback Andrew Body and his many offensive weapons. The Hornets will enter Tallahassee on a two-game winning streak, facing a Florida A&M team that hasn't lived up to expectations in the early going.
