The South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association, Post & Courier Columbia, Columbia Chamber, and the League of Women Voters will host a City of Columbia council election forum on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at The Nickelodeon, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The moderated event will feature at-large City of Columbia council candidates Aditi Bussells (incumbent), Jared Lee Johnson, and Sam Johnson.

The forum is intended to provide an opportunity for the community to hear directly from the candidates seeking to represent them, with a focus on key issues such as workforce development, tourism, business regulations, and public safety.

The forum will also include structured questions, timed responses, and opportunities for light rebuttal in an effort promote an engaging and informative discussion.
