SNOOK, Texas (KBTX) - The Brazos Valley holds a lot of history, dating back more than 100 years. In Snook, a local historical site is undergoing a remodel while preserving as much as possible. This is one organization participating in this year’s Brazos Valley Gives.
History is in the making at Dabney Hill Missionary Church, just off U.S. Route 60 in Snook. One of its sites is getting a makeover.
The Dabney Hill Ethiopian Star Lodge Number 308 is now in Phase One of its restoration process after receiving a $75,000 grant to start construction.
