LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A young girl was waiting to be picked up from school when police say she was inappropriately touched by an unknown man.

However, the girl was able to capture cell phone video of the man who assaulted her as he ran away.

This happened Thursday, Sept. 18 around 3 p.m. The young girl was waiting to be picked up from school in the area around McCready Ave & Richard Ave. A man approached her and inappropriately touched her before fleeing.

LMPD released the video and a screenshot of the person on its social media channels, “We understand the video may not offer much, but we’re asking the community to help identify this individual.”
