WaterFurnace International today celebrated a $14 million expansion of its Fort Wayne operations and CEO John Thomas is already expecting to outgrow the space.
"There's reason to be optimistic about where we will be in two, five and 10 years," Thomas told dozens of employees, local leaders and other officials at the end of a nearly 45-minute ribbon-cutting ceremony.
WaterFurnace, a manufacturer of heating and cooling systems, specializes in geothermal systems.
The company last May announced its 173,000-square-foot expansion plan to more than double its space at 9000 Conservation Way - a road the company was able to name when it first located there nearly 35 years ago.
