A Dartmouth man is facing charges in connection with a house explosion that happened in the town earlier this month and left a resident seriously injured and a dog dead, police announced Wednesday.
Kevin Ruiz, 54, will be summonsed to New Bedford District Court on one count of possession of component parts capable of creating a destructive or incendiary device, possession of explosives and disturbing the peace and three counts of wanton destruction of property worth over $1,200, Dartmouth police said in a press release .
