A 41-year-old Slaton man was sentenced Tuesday in Hall County to 18-years in prison after failing to pay back nearly $100,000 he stole from a non-profit organization dedicated to Texas western swing music icon Bob Wills.

David Martinez appeared in the 100th Judicial District Court in Hall County for a hearing on Hall County prosecutors motion to proceed with adjudication.
