Love Newport at Christmas time? The Hallmark Channel agrees.

On Nov. 2, 2025, as part of the channel's "Countdown to Christmas," Hallmark will air a brand new holiday movie set in Newport.

Named "A Newport Christmas," the new movie will showcase Newport's history and beauty in a holiday time travel romance, marking the very first Hallmark holiday film to be set in the seaside Rhode Island town. In fact, "A Newport Christmas" is the first time a Hallmark holiday movie has been set in Rhode Island since "A Season for Miracles" in 1999.
