Nottingham Forest supporters gather for their team's first appearance on the European stage in almost 30 years.

After nearly three decades away from the European stage, Nottingham Forest fans have expressed their pride as the club made its historic return this evening (Wednesday, September 24).

Dozens of fans gathered at The Trent Navigation Inn to watch the highly anticipated first match of the Reds' Europa League campaign, taking place away from home against Spanish side Real Betis.

While almost 4,000 Forest supporters were fortunate enough to travel to see the match live at the Estadio La Cartuja de Sevilla in Seville, thousands more tuned in from their home city of Nottingham.
