KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police are searching for a Kansas City man with a violent criminal history who is believed to have sexually assaulted a child.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Thursday, Sept. 18, indicate that Jerome A. Brown, 42, of Kansas City, has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that on April 25, law enforcement officials received reports of a possible child sex crime.
