SUFFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A captain with the Suffield Volunteer Fire Department is accused of ordering his two sons to fight another man while acting as the fire chief for the town, according to arrest warrants obtained by News 8.

Suffield police responded to a home in West Suffield around 5 p.m. on Aug. 8 for reports of a domestic disturbance involving John Guzie Sr.

According to the arrest warrant for Guzie Sr., the home was owned by both him and the female victim involved, although he had moved out one week prior on Aug. 1.

The female victim, a member of Suffield Emergency Medical Services (EMS), was outside with a man and two women, also from Suffield EMS, according to the arrest warrant.
