Western Arizona Regional Medical Center CEO David Schott, center, and Assistant CEO Dalton Homer, left, present a check to Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club President Nicholas Darus at the club's Sept. 23 meeting, officially marking the Bullhead City hospital's sponsorship of Kiwanis. WARMC leadership selected the Morning Kiwanis Club to receive the $2,000 sponsorship because of the club's long-standing "great work on behalf of area youth programs, especially free swim lessons for area children," the hospital said in a statement. "We also acknowledged their support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River, offering scholarships to location students, donating to the Firefighter Toy Drive and Bullhead City Police Department's Shop With a Cop program."
