BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Brownsville has unveiled a Park Master Plan to guide the development and management of its parks and recreational facilities over the next 10 to 20 years.
The plan takes a complete look at the current state of Brownsville's parks, assessing existing facilities and identifying future needs based on community input, demographic trends, and environmental considerations unique to the area.
"The master plan consists of projects and activities. We're going to be working with a firm, and what we're going to do is collect all this insight, all this data, and then be able to start to see a strategic plan of how we can deliver what the community desires over the next 10 years in their park system," said Sean De Palma, Parks and Recreation Director f
