Another day, another politically fraught murder in a country with too many goddamn guns. From NBC News:

Three detainees were shot at an ICE facility in Dallas this morning, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement.

Two people are dead, and the third is in critical condition, according to DHS. No ICE officers were hurt in the shooting, Dallas police said in a news conference. The victims’ identities will not be released at this time.

The suspect, who was found dead with a self-inflicted gun wound, has been identified as Joshua Jahn, according to multiple senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation.

One bullet found near the shooter contained messages that were "anti-ICE in nature," Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas FBI Joe Rothrock said
