Go-go music is much more than just the official music of Washington, D.C. — it's a rallying point for residents and a rich part of D.C.'s history.
But the new museum dedicated to preserving and sharing that history is having trouble staying open. The founder of D.C.'s Go-Go Museum and Cafe spoke about the urgent need to raise money and how people can help.

When it opened in February , the museum began the journey of creating a space where anyone and everyone could come to learn and share in the go-go experience. Since then, thousands have visited the museum in the heart of historic Anacostia.
