INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Economic Development Corporation is set to release a report on an audit of the IEDC ordered by Gov. Mike Braun earlier this year.
That report will be released late next week after a legal team reviews it to make sure nothing in it needs to be redacted for legal reasons.
Braun campaigned on bringing more transparency to the IEDC and how it spent taxpayer dollars in its work growing and attracting businesses to Indiana via grants and tax incentives.
As part of that transparency, the governor signed an executive order last spring, calling for the IEDC to be audited.
The audit, done by FTI Consulting, was started in mid-May and looked at the work of the IEDC from January 2022 to December 2024, including whether or not there were instances of improper use of state
