Laredo College and South Texas Food Bank teamed up to walk for awareness

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - At 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the South Texas Food Bank and Laredo College teamed up raise awareness for hunger action month.

The walk on Wednesday morning was a walk with a purpose. Students and representatives from the food bank came together to walk the south Laredo College campus.

The walk supported efforts for the colleges food pantry program called ‘Nourish U’.

Volunteers were asking attendees to donate non-perishable items to the program.
