SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Wizards, witches, and wands set the stage for the Noel Memorial Library Open House at LSU Shreveport on Wednesday.

According to a news release, the event themed “The Magical World of Noel Memorial Library” featured more than 20 booths and activities designed to connect students with library services.

Students explored everything from wand-making and career services games to exhibits from the Northwest Louisiana Archives and the Noel Collection, one of the largest private collections of antiquarian books in the country. The library also highlighted resources such as research citation help, test prep, and a technology petting zoo.
