Tucked deep into Celebrate , the new album by veteran Spokane rock group Buffalo Jones, there's something of a thesis statement for the band. It's called "Cigarette Vending Machine By the Drums." It's a song that's both a true story and somewhat of a mantra for a band.

"We were on tour with Cracker playing amazing venues like the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, the Teragram Ballroom in LA, The Crocodile in Seattle. We played seven nights with them, but three of those nights they were off, and we were like 'Let's go play some shows.'" says Buffalo Jones singer-songwriter and guitarist Jason Johnson.
