COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Department has postponed the scheduled Wednesday maintenance work on East 25th Street due to rainy weather. The project is now set for Friday, September 26.

The contractor says 25th Street, just east of Rogers Street (between Rogers Street and County Road 650E), will be restricted to one lane with flaggers on each end, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bowen Engineering will be completing a concrete drive. Drivers are advised to avoid the area or plan on delays.

Motorists are also reminded that Wolfcreek Road, between County Road 50S and Youthcamp Road (by address 939 S. Wolfcreek Road), will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, September 25.
