SHELTON, CT (WFSB) - Officials in Shelton said they have “shocking video clips” of drivers passing stopped school buses.

They said they recorded the drivers through their new school bus safety camera program.

A news conference was set for 11 a.m. at the Shelton School Bus Depot.

During a 30-day warning period, motorists were caught on camera illegally passing stopped school buses, officials said.

They planned to share the results and announce the start of enforcement beginning Monday, Sept. 29.
