ST. LOUIS -- Opera Theatre of Saint Louis General Director Andrew Jorgensen and opera singer Jermaine Smith discuss OTSL’s two nominations at the 2025 International Opera Awards, the “Oscars of the opera world.”

The company is recognized in two categories: • Best Festival • Best World Premiere for This House by Ricky Ian Gordon, Lynn Nottage, and Ruby Aiyo Gerber

These honors place St. Louis among the world’s top opera destinations. Winners will be announced at a gala in Greece on November 13
