MOFFAT COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - Law enforcement found a large amount of alleged methamphetamine and several firearms at an apartment where they arrested two people.

The arrests occurred on Sept. 19 when the All Crimes Enforcement Team (ACET), with help from the Moffat County Sheriff's Office, Craig Police Department and the Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at a Craig apartment complex. ACET's investigation reportedly found an illegal drug distribution at the residence.

Authorities arrested Dustin Hyatt, 48, and Tanya Vallejos, 46, for illegal distribution of controlled substances. Hyatt, a convicted felon, also faces additional charges of possession of a previous offender after officers found a rifle, three handguns and other weapons inside the apartment.
