JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said 911 and administration lines are down statewide.

"This has impacted calls and emergency responses. Officials are working with AT&T to identify and correct the problem. Will continue to update and provide a contingency plan," said Jones.

He provided alternative contact numbers for the Hinds County Sheriff's Office and the Jackson Police Department (JPD).
