Elkhart Police searching for 29-year-old last seen downtown

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department confirmed Marcell Spencer, missing from Elkhart since December 2023, was found dead in the 3500 Block of West Westmoor Street in South Bend on Sept. 16.

Police say no foul play was suspected in his death.

Spencer's autopsy has been scheduled.

Police are currently unable to confirm his cause of death. Share
