NAMPA, Idaho — The Nampa Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum for the upcoming mayoral and city council elections on Monday, Sept. 29th.

Current Mayor Debbie Kling said in June she will not run for re-election after serving the city for eight years. In a news release, she said that she encourages all citizens to be informed voters and participate in democracy.

The candidate forum event is free and open to the public – it will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.

The forum begins at 5:00 p.m. and is expected to run until 8:00 p.m.

Multiple candidates have confirmed their attendance. For the mayoral race, Justin Buchholz, Rick Hogaboam, and Eric Myricks will be available to speak with voters. Candidate Suzi Robinson will also be featured on the bal
