BLAINE COUNTY, Idaho. (WLUC) - A Marquette man is accused of sexually assaulting a young child in an Idaho hot springs and could face up to life in prison for the crime.

Several Marquette residents began contacting TV6 Tuesday and Wednesday about a man from the area who had been charged with a serious sex crime out-of-state. Viewers said they had seen a story from an Idaho publication circulating and that his name was Kyle Patrick Riffle.

TV6 accessed the Idaho Court System’s online records search Wednesday and found a case for Riffle filed Sept. 5. According to the court register of actions , Riffle is charged with one count of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 in Blaine County, Idaho.
