Amazon will pay $2.5 billion in fines and redress to settle allegations brought by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding deceptive Prime subscription practices.
Of the total settlement, $1.5 billion will go into a fund to repay eligible Prime subscribers affected by the alleged misconduct.
