SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A local mother speaking out on capitol hill on Thursday calling for action in order to make sure her son’s come back safe, as they try to bring aid to the people of Gaza.

The activists seek to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza after the activists said they were attacked by drones near Greece. Western Mass News spoke with this mother on Thursday with more what she had to say.

Nadia Milleron is from Sheffield, Massachusetts and she tells me her two sons decided to set sail on a humanitarian mission to help those in need in Gaza.

Milleron shared a photo of her and her two sons ages 32 and 26. Milleron told us of them decided they didn’t want to sit idly by and let their tax dollars be responsible for what she calls civilian deaths in Gaza.
