BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – If you are having a hard time getting a 911 call to go through in Bossier, here's why.

The Bossier City Police Department announced on Thursday afternoon that the city's 911 System is experiencing outages.

The Bossier City Police Department and Fire Department are currently experiencing outages on the 911 system. Please use 318-741-8977 for all police emergencies until the situation is resolved. For Medical and Fire emergencies, callers can use 318-751-4841. Non-emergency calls can still utilize 318-741-8605 as usual.
