Man charged with first-degree murder in Southeast DC fatal shooting
Washington, DC — A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that left a Southeast DC resident dead last month, police announced Wednesday.
The shooting happened around 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, when Sixth District officers responded to the 300 block of Anacostia Road, Southeast, after reports of gunfire. Inside the residence, officers found an adult male unconscious but still breathing with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died despite lifesaving efforts.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Franck Foute Mohdjiom of Southeast, DC.
