WASHINGTON, D.C. – Four residents of the nation’s capital have sued the Department of Homeland Security and other Trump administration officials over what they say is a pattern of illegal immigration arrests.

The lawsuit says authorities in plain clothes have seized legal U.S. residents and detained them without a warrant or probable cause.

President Trump issued an order in August proclaiming a crime emergency in D.C.
