India has assured itself of at least three medals at the Para Archery World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, with an all-India final set up in the men's compound open category and teenage sensation Sheetal Devi storming into the women's compound final on Thursday, September 25.

In a landmark achievement, Rakesh Kumar, the Paralympic bronze medallist from Paris, and relative international newcomer Toman Kumar have reached the gold-medal match of the men's compound open individual section. Their contrasting semifinal victories have set up an all-India final, marking a historic moment for Indian para archery as one of the two athletes will bring home a first-ever gold medal in the event.

The finals have been scheduled for Saturday, September 27.
