FOXBORO — Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has turned his career around after getting benched last season.

The 2023 No. 1 overall pick has the attention of the Patriots’ defense this week.

“The quarterback (is a) Jitterbug back there,” defensive tackle Milton Williams said Thursday. “He can make all the plays. He can make all the throws. We’re just gonna have to have everybody on the same page to stop the running game and try to contain the quarterback as much as we can.”

Young has completed 60.5% of his passes for 603 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions this season. He’s also carried the ball nine times for 50 yards with a touchdown.
