The WVU Coliseum has a new name for the next 10 years.

West Virginia University and Hope Gas came to an agreement, the school announced Thursday, and the arena will now be known as Hope Coliseum.

The partnership covers naming rights, sponsorship and future donations to West Virginia athletics. The school said the commitment from Hope Gas will generate a “significant new annual revenue stream” for the athletic department and its multimedia rights partner, Mountaineer Sports Properties.

Exact terms of the deal weren’t disclosed in the school’s statement, but 247Sports reported it’s in excess of seven figures each year and the money is expected to go to Blue-Gold Enterprises, the school’s NIL initiative.
