SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and Dignity Health is helping men take charge of their health with a free, prostate cancer screening event.

The screening event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at Dignity's C Street campus in East Sacramento. This event is open to the public, and anyone can sign up. Men over 40 (or 35 for high-risk individuals) are encouraged to get screened.
