Fingerstyle guitarist Yasmin Williams has accused Kennedy Center President Richard Grenell of aiding a group of Trump supporters with a coordinated attempt to “intimidate and harass” her during a September 18th concert.

According to Williams and reporting by Washingtonian , a group of Trump supporters affiliated with the local chapter of the LGBTQ conservative group Log Cabin Republicans showed up to her performance after receiving passes distributed by Grenell’s office.

“All of a sudden, all these security officers rolled up,” Williams told Washingtonian about the lead-up to her performance. “There were about 20 guys in suits, and some of them were wearing MAGA hats.” She also described the incident as a “calculated, targeted” effort in an interview with The Washington Post
