UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV) -- After today’s steady rain, we’ll finally dry out! Friday might still see a stray shower, but the overall trend is much nicer. The weekend looks great, with a mix of sun and clouds both days and comfortable highs in the low 70s. If you’re heading to the Bills’ 1 PM game on Sunday, the weather should be perfect.

Looking ahead, high pressure builds in and sticks around most of next week. That means dry skies, seasonable warmth in the mid-70s, and overall a very quiet stretch.

One important note: parts of upstate New York, including Hamilton, northern Herkimer, and Lewis Counties, are under a drought warning. Folks there are encouraged to conserve water by fixing leaks, cutting back on showers, and reusing water where possible.
