Slovakian League champions Patrioti Levice will participate in the Basketball Champions League regular season for the first time in club history.
Will Carius drained a tough, turnaround triple at the buzzer and finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds to push Patrioti Levice past Bakken Bears Aarhus 100 – 98 after two overtimes in the Final of the Basketball Champions League Qualification Tournament 1. Thanks to this win, the Levice side secured the last available regular season spot.
This was Carius’s first 3-pointer in the game after six misses from beyond the arc.
