Slaughters receives $150K grant for study to fix flooding issues

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The city of Slaughters receives funding for a study.

According to officials, the city of Slaughters received a $150,000 grant from Delta Regional Authority (DRA) to begin a study to resolve flooding issues. Officials thanked people who signed letters requesting help from the DRA. Officials note there were over 400 support letters.

A spokesperson for the city says, "A special thank you to the folks at Green River Area Development District (GRADD) for helping us make this possible! Those people really work hard to support us and we can’t thank them enough!"
