INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers are back on the market for point guard depth.
At media availability with the front office Thursday, Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan that guard Monte Morris has a calf strain and won't be able to play for several weeks. Per league sources, the Pacers had decided to sign Morris -- and the signing was reported last week -- but found the injury in a medical evaluation and opted not to formally sign him. The Pacers will continue to monitor Morris' progress but also evaluate other backcourt options.
