The San Francisco 49ers are bringing back a wide receiver to the 53-man roster amid more uncertainty regarding the return of star receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
Per Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the 49ers activated Demarcus Robinson on Thursday. In a corresponding move, San Francisco placed Nick Bosa on season-ending injured reserve for an ACL injury.
"The 49ers activated WR Demarcus Robinson and placed DE Nick Bosa on season-ending IR," Barrows posted on X.
Robinson signed a two-year contract with the 49ers in March. He was suspended by the league for the first three games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
