A nineteen year old Biathlon athlete from Wasaga Beach has made to the finals in an Olympic talent search.

Malcolm McCulloch was named as a finalist in the RBC Training Ground – the Canadian Olympic Committee’s official cross-country search.

McCulloch is now in the Top 100 deemed to have Olympic potential and will compete in the final on Saturday November 1st in Vancouver.

He was among over 25-hundred athletes competing for a finalist spot.
