Maharashtra is opening its doors wide for investments in the maritime and shipbuilding sectors, with the state government promising to provide every possible support to global and domestic investors. Speaking at the inauguration of the third Global Ports and Shipping Summit at Taj Santacruz, Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane underlined that Maharashtra has not only taken the lead in creating its own shipbuilding policy but is determined to turn this vision into a growth engine for the state.

“We want investors to look at Maharashtra as the best destination for shipbuilding and port development. The state has framed a forward-looking policy, and I urge industries to join this journey and contribute to the growth of our shipbuilding sector," Rane said.
