Clemson has not gotten off to the start that Dabo Swinney or anyone associated with the Tigers program expected it to in 2025.
Entering its bye on Saturday, Clemson is 1-3 after losing to Syracuse at home as a 17-point favorite this past weekend.
ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum, who has never been shy about sharing his opinion, believes it is time for Dabo Swinney to move on from the Clemson program.
"I think it’s over at Clemson,“ Paul Finebaum told ESPN’s Matt Barrie this week. ”Let’s quit trying to sugarcoat it. … Sometimes it’s very difficult to get it back when you’ve lost it. He lost it; he got it back. Now he’s lost it again, and he’s lost it badly. It’s time for him to go."
Swinney led the Tigers to national championships in 2016 and 2018 and reached the College Football Playoff
