The southwest sea breeze is on the move, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the area. Showers and thunderstorms are moving west to east, crossing the River, approaching I-95 and the beaches. Frequent lightning, locally heavy rainfall and gusty wind will be possible in stronger storms. In the tropics, Tropical Storm Humberto could become a major hurricane as Invest 94 develops over the Caribbean and the Bahamas. There is a high amount of model uncertainty for the path, intensity and impacts along the southeast.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop as a weak front moves in from the north and collides with the Gulf and Atlantic sea breezes. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty wind and lightning will be the main hazards.
