SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are looking to get back to .500 for the first time this season as they travel to Arkansas this weekend to play a Razorbacks team that’s 2-2.

The Irish are trying to turn a corner and get this year back on track. Right now with a 1-2 record, Notre Dame can’t afford another loss if they want to make the College Football Playoff.

While their offense has been electric — in the past two games they’ve put up nearly 100 points — their defense has not been so electric .

Right now, the Irish rank 132nd in the country allowing 289 passing yards per game, which will be something they have to improve on as Arkansas’s quarterback Taylen Green ranks in the top 15 in the country in most passing stats.
