The teachers have not cast their ballots.

They vote Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

But if you keep your ear to the ground you hear the rumblings. Loud and clear.

It sure sounds like a whole lot of teachers don’t like what the Alberta Teachers’ Association (the ATA) and the Danielle Smith government is putting in front of them.

A whole lot of teachers.

And unless there is a massive change of heart between now and decision day it sure looks like it will be a No vote and the ATA says in the absence of accepting a deal, teachers will strike Oct. 6.

An XXXL cause of upset is the fact the deal on the table for teachers is pretty much the Smith government’s deal.
