Owen Sound Attack image
Jacob Therrien did it again.
The 19-year-old forward put a shot high glove past Ben Hrebik to score the lone goal of the shootout and lift the Owen Sound Attack to a 2-1 win over Barrie Colts in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night at Sadlon Arena.
Six days after he scored the overtime winner in the Attack’s season opening win in London, Therrien delivered again in the shootout to help his team to a 2-0 start.
Tristan Delisle scored the lone goal for the Attack in regulation. Brad Gardiner had one for the Colts.
Hrebik starred in the Barrie net. The Attack controlled long stretches of the game – especially during the first two periods – but the Colts netminder turned aside shot after shot. Owen Sound ended up outshooting Barrie 51-24.
“He was amazing,”
