P D Palsana appointed as full-fledged Managing Director of GUEEDC

Gandhinagar (18.09.2025): The Gujarat government has appointed P D Palsana (IAS: 2012: GJ) , Additional Secretary in the Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare and Cooperation Department , as the “full-fledged” Managing Director of Gujarat Unreserved Educational & Economical Development Corporation (GUEEDC). He had been holding the additional charge of Managing Director of GUEEDC. However, with the state’s General Administration department’s notification on Tuesday, Palsana was “full-fledged appointed” as the MD of GUEEDC. The GUEEDC was formed by the Gujarat government after the Patidar quota agitation hit the state in 2015. Notably, the post of MD of GUEEDC had been vacant for long.
